About Naamko Studio Naamko Studio is the creative services division of Naamko Group, delivering design solutions across the Group's 13 business units, from product packaging and brand identity to digital marketing and campaign creative. The Role We are looking for an Assistant, Design (Graphic) to join our creative team and produce design work across Naamko Group's portfolio. You will work to approved briefs on marketing materials, packaging artwork, brand assets and illustrations, for both internal clients and external campaigns. Your work is reviewed before release. Responsibilities • Produce social media graphics, advertisements and promotional material to an approved brief • Prepare packaging artwork and die-line files from templates supplied by senior designers • Adapt master assets to new formats, sizes and languages, including Dhivehi (Thaana) layouts, within brand guidelines • Produce illustrations and custom graphics as assigned • Prepare print-ready files to the Studio checklist and submit them for sign-off before release to vendors • Contribute visual ideas in brainstorming sessions • Organise and maintain design files and asset libraries with version control • Gather trend and competitor references for campaign research Requirements • Diploma (MNQF Level 5) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field • Minimum 1 year of relevant design experience (internships and freelance work count) • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign • Understanding of print production: CMYK, bleed, resolution and colour profiles • Portfolio of finished print and digital work, stating your role on each piece • Attention to detail in typography, colour accuracy and file preparation • Good communication skills in English Preferred • Packaging or die-line experience • Basic motion graphics in After Effects for social content • Basic photo retouching or video editing • Dhivehi proficiency, including Thaana typesetting What We Offer • Competitive Salary : based on experience and qualifications • Maldives Retirement Pension Scheme (MRPS) : enrollment from the first day of employment, including the probationary period • Corporate Healthcare Insurance : enrollment upon renewal of contract on a permanent basis • Annual Increment : subject to performance evaluation • Pathway to Permanent Employment : opportunity for conversion to full-time permanent employment upon successful completion of contract • Career Development : progression to Associate, Design (Graphic) through Naamko's organisational framework
