- Oaga Art Resort is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Work location is at Oaga Art Resort. Openings: Not stated. Salary: Not stated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
- Supervise and develop the housekeeping team.
- Prepare duty rosters based on occupancy.
- Monitor performance and ensure consistent service standards.
- Coordinate villa cleaning and inspections.
- Manage linen, uniforms, guest amenities, and minibar stock.
- Handle cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, lost and found items, and pest control.
- Work closely with Front Office and Engineering for villa readiness.
- Address maintenance concerns and guest requests promptly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience; 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Preferred experience in a luxury resort, hotel, or remote-island environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and laundry operations, linen management, and pest control.
- Understanding of housekeeping budgets, cost control, and inventory management.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, OPERA, and hotel systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively under pressure.
