Technician Trainee

Job Overview: - We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technician Trainee to join our team at Global Fire Services Pvt Ltd. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the installation, commissioning, inspection and testing of fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, and related equipment. - Learn and understand the basic requirements, standards, and procedures related to fire protection systems. - Assist in checking installations against approved drawings, specifications, and requirements. - Assist in preparing inspection reports, checklists, test records, and other required documents. - Identify and report defects, damages, or issues observed during inspections to the supervisor. - Assist technicians and inspection personnel during testing, commissioning, and functional checks. - Learn to use inspection tools and testing equipment correctly and safely. - Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. - Follow instructions provided by the Inspection Supervisor and other authorized personnel. - Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements. - Maintain proper care of company tools, equipment, and other assigned resources. - Develop practical knowledge and technical skills through on-the-job training. - Attend required training sessions and actively participate in learning activities. - Carry out any other lawful duties assigned by management related to inspection and testing activities. Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum O-Level / Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. - Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or fire protection systems is an advantage. - Technical or vocational training is an advantage but not mandatory. - Basic computer skills. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. - Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. - Physically fit and willing to work at different locations and sites. - Previous experience in fire protection, electrical, mechanical, or technical work is an advantage but not required.
