Job Overview:
- Maldives Stock Exchange is seeking an energetic, creative, and results-driven individual for the role of Assistant Manager, Market Development & Client Relations. This full-time, permanent position is based in the Maldives, open to individuals with experience in business development, marketing, public relations, client engagement, and market analysis. Salary is negotiable based on qualification and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential listings and support engagement efforts with prospective issuers.
- Pursue opportunities for private issuances in line with market development objectives.
- Support growth of the Private Securities Segment through ongoing client engagement.
- Assist in developing the Depository system through stakeholder consultation and client feedback.
- Identify potential business opportunities by engaging with prospective partners.
- Assess business opportunities by analyzing market strategies and financial information.
- Coordinate with teams to develop integrated and innovative products and services.
- Analyze market trends to support informed decision-making and business growth.
- Support client relations and event coordination for AGM Management services.
- Develop marketing strategies to strengthen AGM Management services.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients across services offered.
- Monitor client needs and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate client records and engagement history.
- Assist in managing communications with regulators and stakeholders.
- Support PR strategies to enhance the Exchange's visibility and reputation.
- Help build partnerships with financial institutions and exchanges.
- Provide operational support for daily trading and settlement functions.
- Manage customer relations for timely information on services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum two years’ work experience in a related field.
- Good interpersonal and client-relationship skills.
- Familiarity with capital markets or financial products.
- Experience in preparing research reports and managing public engagement initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dhivehi.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple programmes and timelines effectively.
- High standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
