Senior Research Officer (Local)

Job Overview: - We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person to join Riyan Private Limited as a Senior Research Officer. The position is based in Male’, Maldives, with 1 vacancy available. Salary details are variable based on level of effort. Key Responsibilities: - Explore business opportunities in socioeconomic research - Assist in preparing proposals for research projects - Provide methodologies, workplans, and other technical input required for tender preparation - Receive instructions, project briefs and clarifications from clients - Direct and undertake pilot studies and field work - Design survey tools and samples - Collect, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data - Prepare reports based on collected data and information - Translate questionnaires and reports from Dhivehi to English and Vice Versa - Project Management for research projects including controlling budget, managing staff etc. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in social research, social science, development studies, economics or related field - 2+ years’ experience in conducting research and assessment in the Maldives using qualitative and quantitative data collection methods - Experience in data analysis and report writing - Proficient in data analysis software such as SPSS or any other similar program - Excellent organizational skills - Excellent presentation skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dhivehi - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications Salary & Benefits: - Variable allowance based on level of effort. - Health Insurance - Benefits and Entitlements standard as per Employment Law - Staff Development Trainings How to Apply: - Interested Candidates, please send in your CV, Educational Certificates and Experience Letters before 10th September 2026.
