Legal & Administrative Officer

Job Overview: - Medianet is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal & Administrative Officer to support legal and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will assist in drafting contracts and managing regulatory compliance. Work location: Male'. Openings: 1. Salary: Negotiable. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing commercial contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and licensing agreements. - Conduct legal research on corporate and labor laws; draft memos and legal summaries. - Assist in preparing documentation for dispute resolution and court matters. - Ensure company policies comply with Maldivian laws and regulatory requirements. - Maintain and secure legal files, databases, and compliance records. - Coordinate with internal departments and regulatory authorities. - Provide administrative support during legal meetings and contract negotiations. - Monitor case progress, legal deadlines, and contract renewals. - Carry out related administrative tasks to support the Legal Department. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree (MNQF Level 7) in Law (LL.B) or related field. - Minimum 1 year of experience in legal administration or contract management. - Proficiency in written and spoken English and Dhivehi. - Strong legal drafting skills in both languages. - Understanding of Maldivian corporate, contract, and intellectual property laws. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools.
